The project was carried out with a company specializing in video surveillance systems that was facing a challenge in its live viewing system for security cameras. The available view menu did not provide the flexibility needed for customers to organize their cameras according to their specific needs.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
To solve this problem, SMT organized a dedicated squad, made up of experts in the areas of UI/UX Design and Development, to develop a personalized solution. Using their expertise, the team worked on redesigning the live view menu, enabling users to create different viewing modes with complete freedom. Now, it was possible to select the number and order of cameras, in addition to modifying the layout of rows, columns and block sizes.
RESULTS
The redesign of the security camera live view menu raised the level of user satisfaction by providing greater flexibility by allowing the user to create and customize different viewing modes. Furthermore, redesigning an existing menu in the system made it easier for users to associate this new functionality, increasing the effectiveness of the security system and improving user productivity. The synergy and agility of the multidisciplinary team, working together and in an aligned manner, was essential to the success of the personalized solution delivered to this company.
